2. Immune system-rules out if there are any low grade infections, including parasites or general problems that can be dormant in the body until full blown dis-ease occurs. This includes indications of pre-cancerous conditions as well as inflammatory conditions.
3. Metabolism - indicates health of digestive system and assimilation of nutrients. Highlights major nutritional deficiencies (that are detrimental to cellular functioning) that need to be further investigated
3. Thyroid -including with other metabolic markers
3. Liver/Gallbladder function -including any signs of pre-diabetes or diabetes that has not been diagnosed
4. Renal (Kidney) function -including Uric acid and disposition to Kidney stones or Gout

6. Vitamin D and B12 levels: helping prevent fatigue, low immunity, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and more.
This panel gives valuable information to almost any aspect of dis-ease that could be laying dormant within your body or could be a potential threat to your health. All sorts of information on your digestion is provided by this panel as well and helps guide the next steps to testing with the digestive and hormonal disturbances.
This panel is highly recommended for anyone as a baseline to your health and especially recommended for a COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CHECK-UP at the age of 30 years old and then suggested to do EVERY FIVE YEARS. The Healthy Living Assessment is easily taken by a blood draw at your closest LifeLabs Laboratory and requires requisition from a Naturopathic Physician.
The Healthy Living Assessment provides OBJECTIVE (scientific) evidence of the health of your internal milieu and is recommended as both a preventative method to disease, and as a baseline measure.
This test is taken by a simple blood draw at your nearest LifeLabs Laboratory.
Thyroid Assessment
Blood Panel
$90-190
The Thyroid Assessment (Basic and Enhanced) provides the complete assessment to your thyroid which laboratory assessment is often not being done in completion in the allopathic medical system, unfortunately. The basic panel tests basic markers of thyroid health that are still being missed/not tested for in the western medical system while the enhanced panel tests if there is an autoimmune issue occurring along with peripheral conversion issues of the thyroid hormones in the liver.
Note: Dr. Romanchuk occasionally adds other important blood markers to these tests to rule out other issues which can occur together with thyroid dysfunction and can increase the price of testing.
The Thyroid Assessment is highly recommended if you are suffering from the common signs and symptoms of the thyroid dysfunction: change in energy (+/-), weight changes (+/-), skin/hair/nail dryness, hair loss, appetite gain or loss, depression or anxiety (or both), fatigue (often overwhelming), feeling too ‘hot’ or too ‘cold’, changes in sleep, cravings for simple carbohydrates and fats, inability to loose weight.
Hypothyroid Symptoms:
Energy: Fatigue, Poor quality, Lethargy/Drowsy, Low exercise tolerance. **Wake up feeling exhausted &/or easily exhausted part way through the day

Furthermore, this assessment tells how much of these missing elements needs to be acquired each day to come into ultimate health.
This is the assessment for elite athletes and other extraordinarily healthy individuals that want to optimize their health, alongside the people that want to minimize aging by maximizing mitochondrial health to maximize energy and longevity AND this is also the test that gives important direction to the best avenues of testing and treatment navigation for a person that has had long standing dis-ease.
This is the assessment for both those that wish to acquire ELITE HEALTH and it also gives valuable information for the cases that come in and there is not a clear idea of what exactly is occurring with the health, but a variety of symptoms such as fatigue and all other major/common reasons for this major symptom have been ruled out. This is especially for ATHLETES (both elite and general), and also a great test for anyone that wants to know how to “tweak” their diet and nutrition to maximally optimize their health. This is an especially useful test for those suffering from CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME and/or FIBROMYALGIA alongside chronic hormonal problems and digestive imbalances.
This assessment tests/gives important information on:

This panel provides clinical laboratory (measurable) evidence into hormonal imbalances and ovarian reserve for better assessment, treatment and monitoring along the pathway to health, and pregnancy.
IMPORTANT: This test indicates if more (important) assessment needs to occur for hormonal/fertility health. This is a very baseline blood panel to rule in and out other issues surrounding issues regarding the menses and fertility.
Indications of female hormone imbalance and when to test:
Loss of breast tissue
Loss of libido
Not feeling “feminine” -can literally start to feel aggressive and agitated as testosterone increases in the body

This test is done at home by salivary collection.
TEST PREPARATION:
Take saliva sample as close as possible to 8:00 am for a proper morning cortisol reading
**Note: there are also month-long hormone assessments which provide urine/salivary samples measuring hormone metabolites over the month beginning at $375. These are highly recommended as it measures the change of hormones over the month. The Female Panel provides a baseline measurement of important markers of health whereas other hormone assessment panels provides even depth of information on the female hormone cycle. Other important hormone panels can test salivary + urine hormone metabolites to give more precise data however the Famale Panel is what is needed to begin the important analysis, and most importantly: rule out any other disease processes such as anemia, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic disease, systemic inflammation and more.
This is for men who are suffering from hormonal problems to clinically measure and assess levels of the important hormones that eventually make free and bioavailable testosterone.
This panel provides clinical laboratory (measurable) evidence into which hormones are imbalanced and how they are imbalanced which allows for better assessment, treatment and monitoring along the pathway to health.
If indicated, the Cortisol Curve along with Cortisol levels over the day is highly recommended to be assessed.
This is a baseline male hormone panel that indicates baseline measurements of important male hormone biomarkers
There are also other important markers that can be added to testing for an additional price:
THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY TO DO A COMPLETE MALE HORMONE PANEL, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY THE SAME PRICE AS THE COMPLETE FEMALE PANEL (see above).
